In the 1910's and early 20's a man named J.B. Densmore lived in Belt and worked for the Belt Valley Times, which published a weekly paper from 1895 until 1976. He collected a series of photographs of Belt which were preserved in an album that his family kept for nearly 100 years. In 2020 his grandchildren donated the album to the town of Belt. The original photos from the Densmore Photo Collection are on permanent display at the Belt Museum. Explore the galleries above to take a closer look at History.
